Every destination on CRACKED.SX passes the same four tests before it is
listed. This page is the standard, so you can hold a page to it.
1. It has to be legal to use
We list a source only where the rights holder has made the material
available free, or where copyright has expired, or where the licence permits
it. In practice that means ad-supported streaming services, public-domain
archives, Creative Commons catalogues, open-source projects, publisher
giveaways, free tiers, and library programmes you join with a library card.
We do not list sites that distribute cracked or pirated software, films,
music, games or books, and we do not explain how to remove copy protection.
That rule has no exceptions and it is not a judgement about you - it is what
makes a "where to" list worth reading, because a link that disappears in a
fortnight was never an answer.
2. It has to work without a trick
No page here asks you to install an extension, disable a blocker, create a
throwaway account or paste anything into a console to make a destination work.
If a service only functions that way, it does not go on the list.
3. The cost has to be stated
"Free" covers several different bargains. A page says which one applies:
free with ads, free with an account, free for a trial that needs a card, free
in some countries only, free but with a download cap. Where a service changed
its terms after we listed it, the page is updated and says when.
4. Someone has to have opened it
Destinations are checked by hand before they are listed, and re-checked when
a page is updated. A dead service is removed rather than left ranked.

They are listed on the same terms as everything else - free, legal, no
account, checked - and they come out of a list the moment they stop meeting
them. We take no payment for any listing, including our own.
Telling us we got it wrong
If something here is out of date, unavailable in your country, or should not
be listed at all, write to [email protected]
with the URL. Rights holders who believe a listed destination infringes their
work should write to the same address; we remove entries rather than argue
about them.
